Šimon is from Bratislava, but his family roots trace back to Rača, where his grandfather was involved in viticulture and winemaking. Thanks to him, Šimon has been appreciating the beauty and tradition of winemaking since childhood.
His passion for wine deepened through his studies at the Secondary Vocational School of Winemaking and Fruit Growing in Modra, where he specialized in sommelier studies. After graduating, he decided to stay in the wine industry and started working at a winery in Devín. There, he not only expanded his theoretical knowledge but also gained valuable practical experience and grew even closer to the world of wine.
Today, he works as a sommelier in the team of the National Wine Salon of the Slovak Republic, where he continues to develop his sommelier expertise.
